Dr. Morris is a clinical psychologist in Salt Lake City. He has been in full-time private practice since 1990, currently focusing on adults and couples. He also has many years’ experience working with children and families, and has been the director of a hospital treatment program for children. He has served as Education Chair, Member at Large, and President of the Utah Psychological Association (UPA). Currently he serves as a founding member of the nationally-noted UPA Healing the Great Divide task force, whose mission is to improve respect and understanding among diverse groups in the community. He has been a consultant in several medical clinics and psychiatric hospitals and has given educational presentations to various professional groups. He has also given many community presentations on topics such as couples relationships, parenting, depression, and stress management and has served for many years as a teacher and leader in his church. His research publications are in the area of psychotherapy process and outcome. He is a graduate of the two-year national IPI training program.
